Golden Star Theaters seeks a dynamic Head Manager to lead our team in delivering an exceptional movie-going experience. In this role, you’ll manage a team of 15-20 floor staff members, 4 assistant managers, and 2-3 cleaners, overseeing day-to-day operations of a first-run movie theater.

The ideal candidate possesses proven management and supervisory experience, a passion for customer service, and strong organizational skills. As a hands-on leader, you’ll mentor and collaborate with staff to ensure top-notch customer service. The role includes personnel management, scheduling, hiring, training, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 15-20 employees, 4 assistant managers, and 2-3 cleaners.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and leadership to personnel, including scheduling, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a comfortable, distraction-free environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility.
  • Oversee food and beverage services, manage inventories, and handle weekly movie scheduling.
  • Operate and maintain digital movie projectors.
  • Develop and execute movie-themed promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven management/supervisory experience in customer service.
  • Positive attitude and effective leadership skills.
  • Comfortable enforcing policies and regulations.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, internet communications).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
