Golden Star Theaters — Employee Text Alert Program Terms
Program description. Golden Star Theaters sends operational text alerts to management employees. When a scheduled movie showing has sold zero tickets twenty minutes after its start time, the manager on duty at that location is notified so the showing can be shut down and operating costs avoided.
Who receives messages. Participation is limited to Golden Star Theaters management employees. This program is not available to the general public and no member of the public is enrolled.
How employees are enrolled. A manager is enrolled by starting a shift report in Golden Star Theaters’ internal management application. At that moment the application displays a notice stating that creating the report marks them as the on-duty manager and that they will receive text alerts about empty showings. Submitting the shift report at the end of the shift ends enrollment for that shift.
Message frequency. Frequency varies by location and by day. A manager typically receives fewer than 20 messages during a shift.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the employee’s mobile plan. Golden Star Theaters does not charge for this program.
Opting out. Employees may turn these alerts off at any time from within the internal management application, without ending their shift report. Employees may also reply STOP to any message to stop all further messages, or HELP for assistance.
Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
